Seven patients are in intensive care, according to a statement from Samitivej Srinakarin Hospital.

Forty-three people from the Singapore Airlines flight, which encountered severe turbulence, are still hospitalized in Bangkok, four days after the incident, a hospital in Thailand’s capital reported on Saturday.

The patients are spread across three hospitals in Bangkok. At Samitivej Srinakarin Hospital, where 34 patients are being treated, seven are in intensive care—three Australians, two Malaysians, one Briton, and one New Zealander.

The remaining 27 patients at Samitivej Srinakarin include eight Britons, six Australians, five Malaysians, and two Philippine citizens.

Two patients were discharged from Samitivej Srinakarin, while two from Samitivej Sukhumvit Hospital were transferred to Samitivej Srinakarin to be with hospitalized relatives.

On Thursday, the director of Samitivej Srinakarin Hospital reported that 22 patients had spinal cord injuries and six had brain and skull injuries, though none of the injuries were life-threatening.

One passenger died of a suspected heart attack, and dozens were injured on Tuesday when Singapore Airlines Flight SQ321, traveling from London to Singapore, encountered sudden, extreme turbulence over Myanmar.
